    Wooot Mimi! Congratulations!

As for me, I am waiting news of the results of my mother's PET scan this week, should know in a couple of hours. They seem pretty sure she has lung cancer...she is a breast cancer survivor. I can't imagine what she must be going through waiting for the news. She finds out today.

Thank you, and there is news. There is no doubt that she has lung cancer, and the fact she has emphysema doesn't help. Apparently there is a chance the surgery will collapse her lung I will probably head down in mid-October for a week to be with her, just have to work. Thankfully she lives with one of my younger sisters so that is a comfort. At this point they don't know if this is a new primary cancer, or secondary to her breast cancer a couple of years ago.
