Thank you. I noticed the same thing with the Garmin. I don't understand why it happened in a wide open area with no trees to interfere with the satellite signal. Normally I get that when I ride through heavily forested areas. On my "Slug Gulch Road climb 9-11-11" video, the speed reading dropped down to 0 as I accelerated into a switchback.

I love the reactions I get when I ride an adult trike at a good clip! Here's a pedestrian at a bus stop cheering me on as I approach: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqcUIvuy3KA

OK, got home from vacation and fired up the external drive. Where's that video? Had to recreate it!

I hope this was worth the wait

The best part is about 45-55 seconds in.

I like that camera angle, especially with the spinning wheel. I also like the fact that it's raw footage. Most music on cycling videos is hit or miss. I end up muting more often than not. IMHO raw is the best because you can hear the gear shifting, other bike sounds, nature sounds, and people talking (and for climbing videos, the effort the rider is putting into the climb ).

:44 is what happens to me on a typical ride. Was that a "victory salute" he did at :47? If so, I hope he wasn't doing it to be a jerk.

No. We both thought that car passed us too closely. That was him cussing him out. If I could ride no-handed, I might have also

Oh, okay. I wondered what that was all about. Boo on the close passer! That's why we may get a 3-foot law here in California.

We have a 3 foot law, but you can see what good that does when the drivers don't know or don't care.
