    Welcome! It's going to hurt for your first few rides no matter what saddle and/or chamois!! You'll break everything in after a few rides though.

    I'd agree with the others, do not go for the big cushy seat if you plan to ride far and long. There are many saddle threads here you should search and read through.

    Welcome to riding & TE.

    Whatever you get, be sure that you also get padded shorts. Don't try to ride in anything that has a seam up the crotch (ouch!!!).
    To train a dog, you must be more interesting than dirt.
