    Ugh; that sounds awful. We sleep on cots when we car camp, and we've never backcountry camped. I'm not sure my hips/back could take it.

    I was sitting at our campsite, exhausted and hurting, I looked at my honey and asked "tell me again why we do this" she just laughed and agreed with me that is was more fun to stay at a Courtyard Marriott.
