Hah. I got a denim jacket from the farm store a few years ago. I wear it to protect my arms from brambles when I'm berrying or driving the mower. But it soaks up sweat just as you'd expect heavyweight cotton would, and I can't imagine doing anything very active in it. When I come back into the house I have to hang it on a peg to dry out ... there's no hanging it in the closet like that!

The Levi's jacket I had in high school was almost the opposite of your story. I'd embroidered mine, and when we moved away I traded it with a friend for her Lee jacket. I still have that one to remember her and those times by, though I don't wear it much any more.
