Ummm...no offense, Ozzies, but those Girl Guide biscuits look a bit dull.

Thin Mints are fabulous thin chocolate mint cookies covered in chocolate, and best straight from the freezer. Oooh, I just remembered that my other favorites are Savannahs, the peanut butter ones. Did they get renamed to Tagalongs? That sounds oddly like the Philipino language. Now we're in trouble with the Samoans, too!

No Offense taken. I have never seen a Girl Guide selling biscuits in Aust and maybe thats just as well as they look horrid.

I think different Councils use different bakeries and so you can get certain cookies only in specific areas of the country. There's another peanut butter cookie called Do-Si-Dos here in Chicago that are a pb sandwich cookie. Maybe that's like the ones you remember? The tagalongs are pb with a chocolate coating. I'd say the peanut butter makes either one a perfect energy bar for rides (as long as you don't mind licking the chocolate off your fingers!). Can you tell I'm a GS leader?

P.S. SF Bay Area folks can order their GS cookies on-line and the girls will deliver them right to your home!

Argh! I decided I needed grapefruit juice. Little did I know the scouts were in front of Safeway selling their crack in a box! I managed to get away with Thin Mints, Peanut Butter sandwich, and the Lemon Pastry. What can I say, my defences are down, I'm sick......

The Lemon Pastry might go very nicely with a Theraflu martini

You and sadiekate are bad. But then, I'm living on chicken soup (today was chicken and rice ) so I'm certainly not packing in the calories. My Tuesday weigh in might be interesting....providing I make it to work!
