DH and I recently purchased a couple of new cat trees for our feline buddies. Here is a recent photo showing half of the gang hanging out in their new castle! At the top we have Munk (she is shy and has her back to the camera) next the our black, fuzzy kitty Twister. At the next level is Mars. On the bottom tiers we have Snickers (Mars's sister) and Dickens.

Jacky - Millie seems to have been looking for an angel and found one. She will be loved and cared for which is what she deserves!

Mak - Do they always get along so well or just didn't want to wait to try the tower? How many do you have total?

Aggie Ama - We have 10 cats in our "Thundering Herd." They range in age from 16 years old to 10 months old. For the most part they get along great though we do have a hissy fits from time to time. The cat towers have been a huge success with our furry gang. I can home today to find 6 cats on one of the towers. I think we can say they love their new furniture!

Here is a picture of Penelope in atop the tower. She was Queen for the moment.

How fun! I would have another cat but DH wouldn't allow it. He wasn't too thrilled when I started bring up a new dog. And the cat was to mend my broken heart when we lost our Maggie Bear. He pretends to dislike the cat and the new puppy but he is an animal lover and isn't fooling anyone.

I love the picture of zoe rescuing the treee. Our golden retriever buddy, 95 pounds of muscular goofiness, used to drag home trees instead of his tennis ball. We had an excellent supply fo kindling for fire starting!

I just adopted a chihuahua mix. We think he is also part border terrier. He was surrendered by a family that obviously did not take good care of him. He was intact, FAR too skinny, and pretty neurotic. My friend fostered him and I fell in love.

He's still got plenty of issues, but what those issues are he's made up for in his ability to act like a good boy most of the other time. He's a total cuddlebug. He doesn't go to far and doesn't get into anything. He's very good with recall/sit/stay. That only took him a couple of weeks to learn.

    Here are some pictures:

He's adorable, and not too thin now. What's your cuddlebug's name?
    Love those long legs.

His name is Willis. He came with that name and it really fits. Right now, I am so happy to have him on my feet. I woke up without use of my right arm this morning due to a complex migraine and could barely dial to call into work. He just sat with me all morning. What a good boy! Way past potty time this morning, but no issues.

Now, I have to go see the doc about getting an implanon done for my endo pain. So, I get to get that thing shoved in my arm. I won't be riding today anyway, so I can just continue to chill with the dog haha. Willis lives a pretty good life.

I had an appraiser at my house today. She was walking around taking pictures of the house. She got to the main bedroom and she starts to pick the camera up to take a picture, aimed towards the bed. My black/white cat (Finbar) leaps into the picture, sprawling on the blanket chest at the foot of the bed, clearly posing. She cracked up. I asked her if that raises the value of my house. She said no but it definitely raised the value of her day.

These cats never stop entertaining me.

She is a Shih Tzu. She turns 14 tomorrow. A few months ago she started to have TIAs/mini strokes. She has recovered from each of them. She also can not hear anymore. Makes me sad because I always praise her and now she can't her that. She also has tumors on both of her kidneys. I love my little dog.

She's really, really old, blind and kinda deaf, had mange, seborrhea, fleas, worms, an umbilical hernia, a heart murmur, and was horribly underweight. We felt so sorry for her that we took her in.

When I took her to the vet, they recognized her and said she had been brought in as a stray before, but the owners came looking for her and picked her up. The vet was outraged that anyone could let a dog get in such poor condition, but said that, by law, they have to give it back to the owners. When I brought her in this time, she was even more outraged. They hadn't even bothered to give the dog the free flea and mange treatment that she had given them. Fortunately whoever owned her didn't bother to come looking for her this time around.

Anyway, she's now happy and fairly healthy. She's gone from less than 11 lbs to 12 1/2 lbs, her fur is growing back like crazy (we may actually have to get her trimmed), and most amazingly, her heart murmur has disappeared!

She's the sweetest, most loving dog ever. I think I was the first person to ever give her a tummy rub, and whenever she hears me approach she flops onto her back, begging me to rub her tummy! We named her Mildred because we had just finished watching Mildred Pierce on HBO when we brought her home.

Awwww what a heart rending and then heart warming story. I love the before and after pics. What a difference in her.

Happy birthday to your "little dog." I'm sorry to hear she's not in the best health. Keep on lovin' on her. She may not hear your praise, but I bet she can read you like a book.

@Reesha, your dog is just gorgeous! And love the house!

@7rider, your furbabies are growing up to be beautiful cats. I hope you're enjoying them, notwithstanding the lamp!
