It feels SOOOO weird! All these years and now it's going to be official... I don't even speak the language of marriage, a co-worker asked me if I was getting cold feet and I looked at my sandals and replied "no, I'm fine"

Pax-Woohooo! Sending happy thoughts your way right now!

    Dear Universe,

I have all my money just about in a heap. Just expecting one free-lance check any day now and then I should have enough. So please, please, please look the other way. Don't blow a head-gasket in my car, start the dryer on fire, or send a tree crashing down on our home. Just this once, I'd really like to blow that money on a new bike for myself instead of spending it on grown-up-y stuff.

    Thank you,

    Yay, Pax! Congratulations!

'bout damn time, too. The law. Not you two.

And Lime, there is nothing un-grown-uppy about treating yourself well when you work as hard as you have the last few years. You've earned that bike.

    Dear Honda Dealer,

I don't get why I got charged about 150 bucks today for everything. I thought it was a basic service. What the heck is a pollen filter anyway? Maybe I should have stayed with my boring Hyundai cars instead of a Honda CR-Z Hybrid.

Oh, and now it's making this terrible rickety sound from the back. I really don't want to go back as you are 80 miles away.

    Dear Blue Cross/Blue Shield,

Would you please explain why my insurance went up by at least a hundred dollars a month for the same crappy service?

Hey, do we get to see wedding pictures? How was the ceremony? Did you or are you going to have a reception to celebrate?

Congrats! Pax. Dear rain, my friend called me and told me the news said we haven't had more than two days of sun in a row since late September. Enough already, the flood warnings on my weather channel app every day would be kinda funny if it wasn't June. Dear brother in law, next time we all go on vacation please bring your own chef, maid, and nanny. I am none of those things and am not responsible for you or your childrens hungriness, cleanliness,or happiness, especially when I'm on vacation. I love my nieces and nephews but I'm done. No one else should have to clean up your kids projectile vomiting and thanks again for the stomach flu.I know this is an annual family trip but next year I think we are staying home.

The pics in the courtroom didn't come out too well, it was kinda dark in there. But here we are waiting to go in (I'm the tall one )

And here we are at our "reception" afterward (aka lunch with our closest friend).
