Excited about going to see Patti Smith perform in Westhampton this weekend...

Grateful that I have three new books to read by the likes of Sherman Alexie, David Sedaris and Kurt Vonnegut...

Happy that I haven't watched tv since I lost my analog signal back in July!!

Nervously excited about going clipless on Sunday...

I am jealous. Saw her last year in San Francisco, one of the best shows I've ever seen!

Snapdragen Patti's totally amazing! I'm also going to see her in Florence, Italy in September.

Lots of things made me happy today!

A great bike ride this morning.
Playing Frisbee with bf on the front lawn.
Seeing a couple of kids rocking out in a car with the windows rolled up.
A blue balloon that just floated by.
A lady walking her 2 dachsunds, followed by her black cat.
    Tapioca Pudding.

I could have written this same list when I was 10!

I am enjoying this thread. I have been in a funk because of a lot of stress at work...this has given me a different perspective. Thanks!!!

I am thankful for the cooler nights, we can now sleep with our windows open vs keeping the AC on. I love the cool breeze.

I am thankful for the mountains here in CO. They are so beautiful, which makes me thankful for my eyesight and ability to see all that I can.

I am thankful for my backpacking trip I did last month.

I am thanful for my DH and of course my dog that give me all the never ending love that I need.

There's this little boy who walks a little dog down my block. He's probably 9 or 10 years old, and he has a lot of style; he's so dapper in his fedora hat. I've never spoken to him, but I see him with his dog, and notice he lets the dog take as much time as he needs, in all weather. He'll let the dog sniff a leaf for 5 minutes in the rain. He seems so kind, and you can just see his love for his dog. This kid gives me hope for our future.
