I agree that someone will replace him and that Al Queda is not dead. But still, I am glad this happened.
I am a little concerned for my son, who is scheduled to leave Afghanistan in about 10 days. There's going to be a lot more anti-Americanism. That, and the fact that he now is going to be part of the very small and elite Marines Special Ops Forces... just like the Navy Seals who killed bin Laden. He'll still be doing counter intelligence, but, still... in one generation we went from me protesting on the Boston Common to Special Ops .

(Let us not forget that the Bin Ladens were visiting their close friends and fellow oil tycoons on Sept 11, and their private jet was the only aircraft allowed to fly during the 3 days.
