My training since October has mostly involved injuring myself again and again. For the most part it's a new injury every time. The exception is my ankle/foot. I just can't seem to make the 5-fingered shoes work for me. I'm so disappointed; I really really wanted them to work because I heard such great reviews about them. It seems ridiculous that they don't work for me, after all, I wasn't born with shoes on so barefoot running should be able to work for anyone.
I got a book called "Daniels Running Formula" and it says that the best runners aren't necessarily the fastest. They are the ones who manage not to injure themselves at critical moments. That rings true!
