Celine - yes, those are bodybuilder legs, and no, there's nothing wrong with that. But this is not a bodybuilding or fitness forum, and the tone here is quite different. We are not aggressive to newcomers, just wary. Discussing ones body in detail on the internet demands a bit of trust and there are many weirdos out there. If you introduce yourself, or ask questions about cycling, you will be met with a lot more friendly responses.

Celine - you can understand what our concern was. Most of our newcomers introduce themselves and their bikes (if they are riding yet), and some have questions related to cycling - they don't normally post pictures of body parts and ask to see other photos. In the many years I've been on the internet this is one of the most welcoming forums I have ever been on, but of course one does have to be cautious on the internet.

Celinefitness.. don't give up on us. I'm not good with words and what I say on the internet comes out weird sometimes and misrepresents myself, but most of what I know about cycling I have learned from here. I see kids on facebook that post things that worry me much more than your legs Anyway, if I had legs like yours I could climb hills and do the mountains where some of my relatives live, instead of wishing for lower gears and/or better legs.

I'm sure my legs resemble yours under the rather generous fat layer. Not sure that is because of cycling though. I've always found it embarassing because, as some have mentioned, they're not very feminine.

I think they look like a sprinter's legs. Looks like you have some power!

I used to walk 4 miles every day, and my legs still didn't have any definition. Now my legs have a nice groove down the sides. I like what cycling has done for them. Seeing that groove develop was a early great motivator for getting me on the bike. Now it's second nature, and I need to ride or I go nuts, but before that happened, it was all about that groove.

When I opened this thread again and saw the pictures a second time, they started to remind me of what a sprinter's legs look like. So, what kind of cycling do you do? Rides for fun, centuries, any racing, etc.?
