This is the one advantage to living in a BFE community--they don't plow more than once/week and only after 6" or more of snow (hence the bad@ss snow tires on my car). Only the primary roads are salted/sanded...and some corners. So there's not a huge amount of salt or sand to deal with. Most debris is random bits of gravel that have been scraped-up from the shoulders on the rare occasions that they do plow. Originally Posted by bluejellybean
