Dear Peeps on a cycling mailing list,
Those things that you use to stop your bike are called "brakes", NOT 'breaks'. This happens on a frequent basis and it is irritating - probably because I cannot understand how the two words can be confused with each other![]()
I don't see the noun confused often, but I probably see "peddling" more often than "pedaling" when the latter is meant. Newspaper stories, wherever. No one knows how to spell any more, and if it passes their spell checker, it goes.![]()
