Last week was good- then I rode 71 miles Sunday, and my weight is back up. 115 again. I'm not eating that much, but it's not going down.

While this is a loss, I'm a bit disappointed because I was *really* hoping to get below 150 by my birthday. Oh well, it'll happen eventually, right?

155 will NOT be happening by the end of the month with the last 2 weeks of gaining. Oh well, I'm still down a few pounds, and I'll keep on keepin' on...

Will we continue this challenge into March and April?

193 I am an emotional and boredom eater and I can't get a grip. Also I can't say no when I am asked to lunch with a friends which oddly happens alot. I guess I need to make better choices at lunch and also not completley blow off my diet for the day because I went out for lunch.

I just don't get it. I rode 20 miles yesterday and I gained two pounds.

But what did you eat before, during and after the ride?

For me, my body always holds onto fluids for a day or two after a big ride or heavier strength trainig session - it does this regardless of what I may have eaten. Then I take a day off and am always surprised at how much weight I've lost the next morning. Perhaps your body does the same thing?

Weight loss isn't about what you do over the course of one day. It's really about consistency.

I always weigh more after a long ride too - for a couple of days. As long as I am eating less calories than I am burning I know the weight will slowly keep coming off. I use Fitday and log my food and workouts - it is very accurate.
