Yeah, I don't get it either. And I actually live in a climate that justifies Ugg boots.
I have a couple pairs too, but more like the styles Crankin described. I have been tempted to buy the classic style but so far I've resisted. It helps that I keep thinking I can get them much cheaper during my next trip back to the States. And then when I'm home, I look at them in the store and realize that I don't really want them.
