Ha, Oakleaf, I have those Acorn slippers. In fact, I am on my second pair. I can't believe I wore cheap, terry slippers for so long. I put them on as soon as I get in the house.
Yea, I am never quite sure what to do with the sewn together pockets, on let's say a nice pair of wool pants. I also thought it was for when they were hanging on the rack. Then, if you snip the threads, they look funny and gap.

I have to agree. I have disliked the fake pockets of women's clothes ever since I was a little kid. Why did my brothers have real pokets and my clothes didn't? That was not fair.

So my solution has been to shop where the clothes have real pockets such as the men's department, LLBean or other places like that. So if the clothes do not have real pockets they will not get my money.

I hate fake pockets too. I have a whole bunch of em on a beautiful western-wear vest I purchased from Sierra Trading Post. I keep trying to get into the pockets to put something in there and it makes me look like a dweeb!

I hate those fake pockets-- what are the manufacturers thinking????

Another gripe: pockets that are there, but too small to actually be useful. It does make sense that now that I'm wearing much smaller sizes, the pockets on the back of my jeans will be smaller too-- but can't the hip pockets be deep enough to at least securely hold some keys and change???
