Tifosi sunglasses lens removal question

So I bought these great sunglasses with the removable lens. But for the life of me I can't figure it out even with directions. I am afraid I am going to break them. Anyone have any experience with these?

Depends on the model.

If it is one with no frame at the bottom, to change the right lens --

Hold the glasses in your left hand, temples pointing at the floor, your palm over the front, and your left thumb on the top of the frame going over the top of the right lens.

Put your right thumb next to your left thumb and then apply gentle pressure on the temple so that you can slight bend the top of the frame in the opposite direction of the lens. Be very careful so you don't bend the hinge.

There is a little tab that will come out of the corner of the frame by the hinge and then you can pull the lens out the rest of the way.

My instructions are for a frame as shown here. I find it works best to have my thumbs on top of the frame at the middle of the lens to pull back against.

I have a great pair of Tifosi glasses that came with interchangable lenses. Here's my experience:

• Pull glasses from case and stare at them quizzically.
• Push and pull at lenses gently, hoping to figure out how the hell to remove the lens.
• Give up and put extra lenses back in my sock drawer.
• Clean fingerprints from glasses.
• The next time I'm riding in the dark/dusk/fog/rain swear I'm going to figure it out next time.
• Repeat as necessary.

I have the same problem with my Oakleys. Since they have Rx lenses, I always get the folks at the shop to help me...that way if they break them it won't be my fault.

I have a pair of Tifosi that I keep in the car for emergencies, with full frame. The best advice I could give is that they almost certainly won't break, but will be a pain...I've changed them exactly once, and don't want to try again. Which is why for cycling I swear by my Smith Factor Maxes, which I changed in the car the other day on the passenger seat with one hand and without looking down during a decent snowfall to get my rose "snow special" lenses in.
