Redrhodie, that's cool looking. I wonder how it sits with what looks like a seam going across the middle like that.

I've wanted a teal jersey. Next bike I get will be an easy-to-match color.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

sorry for messy links, in a rush. I love purple! Hopefully if you like any of these you might be able to source them in the US too.

It sits nicely. The seam is well placed on me, and I don't notice it physically. Diagonals are supposed to be slimming, so it probably would look good on a lot of body types. The "lava" color is a really dark brown, almost black. It didn't show that way on my monitor.

They used to have the "Giro" jersey in lavender, too. I have that one, too.

Hmmmm, I really like this one. With the new bike coming I don't have much money for extras, but when the budget frees up I need to get this jersey if at all possible. The purple is just beautiful, thanks!

Thanks to all for the links!

How "warm" is smart wool jerseys in the spring? If I were to get one do I stand a good chance of overheating or am I worrying about nothing?

My LBS has an outstanding line of long-sleeved Smartwool jerseys that I am just salivating over...

I don't have any Smartwool jerseys, but I have several Ibex that I wear even in summer. The one I linked to is very light weight, like a tee shirt. In fact, you'll probably need a jacket or arm warmers with it until May or June.

It depends on the weight of the top and what spring temperature you're talking about. SM Microweight jerseys are very light as the name suggests. Midweight could be suitable for spring so long as it wasn't too warm out. I have a midweight jersey that I wear almost exclusively in the winter though. When temps fluctate quite a bit during the spring and fall, I'm much more apt to wear several layers none of which are particularly warm on their own just so I can take things off and put them back on as needed. For that reason, I think I'd be more inclined to wear a SM lightweight jersey with a light jacket in the spring.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

Cool, thanks for the information! I won't be able to add much to my cycling clothes this spring due to bike lust, so I need something that I can cross seasons with.

This makes sense and will keep it in mind. I need to get all of my cycling clothes together and figure out what I need - outside of a purple jersey Thankfully everything still fits from last year which does help, though I should add a pair of new shorts - probably bibs...

I happen to have a purple Pearl Izumi jersey that I no longer wear. Infact, I can honestly say that I've only worn it maybe once or twice. It's just too small for me (I'm busty and broad-shouldered). It's a size Large, but to me it feels more like a slightly roomy Medium. If you're interested, let me know. I can also post or send you a pic of it. I'd gladly let it go for $10.
