    Trainer simualtors

I would agree with Eden that Computrainers are great quality!

Elite also has a trainer where you can buy videos/DVD's of pro courses, and that may be something to consider as well. I do not have any experience with that particular trainer, but I will say that they are a reputable company and definitely one that I would consider.

Good luck in your search, sounds like lots of things to consider!

DH and I picked up a Concept II rower from Craigslist at a reasonable price. It's been great...when we have it in one piece and set up. I've actually used it more this year than in the past 3 years that we've had it. I like that it's full body and works different muscles vs. a bike. The last time I used my Nordic Track, I threw out my back on it () so right now, it's collecting dust and holding various vacuum parts on it.
We hope to ultimately convert a room in our basement into an exercise room. Some day. It will have the rowing machine, hopefully a spin bike, a treadmill, and room for us to set up the rollers. And free weights. And a flat panel t.v. on the wall so we can keep an eye on Coach Troy! I think the Nordic Track will go to Freecycle.

I think you should buy one of these:

My LBS has a demo set up and it's SWEET. I would train all day, every day if I had this.
