    You are quite an inspiration!

This year was not what I had hoped it would be - for a lot of reasons. I haven't added up my mileage, and won't because it won't be a positive thing for me.

Here's to lots of miles in 2011!

I ended up with 10,004. Crazy...I know. My main goal for the year was to exceed last year's mileage which was 7,000. About a month ago when I noticed that I was inching towards 10,000, I started to become a little obsessive about hitting that number. It's just a really nice, round number. My daily commutes help (30 miles roundtrip) and the group rides on the weekend certainly help.

12,317 km for the year, with two months ill so pretty happy. My local forum has a group on My Cycling Log, beating a UK forum group for the year which was fun. It's very easy to use, and you can input other activities, so maybe the TE people would like to set up a group.

I know I posted 215 in the NYE thread, but I realized I short-changed myself for a few rides from when the computer malfunctioned. So it's closer to 236.

    Wow pfunk!

Not sure to the exact kilometre since I stopped throwing on my cyclometer on handlebar. But know the distances of common routes I cycled regularily last year plus our bike trips.

Less than 2009 (over 7,000 kms.). 2010 was probably just abit over 5,000 kms.

One of our friends has been riding for about 2 years and hit 10k miles for the year, too. Yesterday she celebrated by doing an outdoor century (in MI...thankfully it was nearly 60º...freaky weather) capped-off by a 5k NYE race. She's an animal!
