I know that they run about $800.00 but I am not sure how else to transport my kayak and my bike. I have a great rack also for my trailer hitch. It does give limited access to the back but I can live with that.
I am thinking when I go up north for a vacation I really want both. I also will need to put some kind of rack on for the kayak for any time. I just thought that I should get something for both. Does anyone else have any thoughts or ideas? I am 5'10" and I need a stool so my heart goes out to you for being short but if life wasnt a challenge then hey what would we do? My friend that I do kayaking with is also 5' nothing so I can relate..
I also heard that loading was okay but to lock it in place was another story so I have some doubts about that. I believe that Thule also makes this kind of rack now this year.. Any experience out there?????
