Bikerhen, you hang in there. You are doing great!
DH and I had to get a 9 mile run in today but had been out of town and were driving home most of the day. We drove to my in-laws (who were dogsitting), changed our clothes and took off for our run only to get caught by the dark with coyotes howling in the woods. I'm sure glad he decided to run a slower pace and stay with me. I'm such a chicken in the dark.

I did do the Jingle Bell run. Believe it or not I was able to jog almost the whole 5k. I only walked on the bridges because they were a little frosty and slick. My time, 42.44, not bad considering this was my first outside run since oh, 1980? Look out Valley Girl, here I come!![]()
Woohoo! But - jingle bells, already?!

We have to jingle our bells a little early here in eastern Washington. By Christmas time we can be knee deep in snow. The way things are going this year, the snow just might be that deep real soon. We already have more than 12" officially, with more falling as I type. Looks like my outdoor running plans are on hold for a few more months. Thank goodness for the treadmills and running track at the gym.![]()
