No worries,we'll take our time and stop for lattes and pictures.

I know you guys paid probably someone from Blackwater Pedal and Paddle for a shuttle last year.

It looks like there's a 5 mile loop that can be done on the transquaking using a canal dug for that purpose:

There's a 7 mile trip we could do using Bestpitch landing and Island creek landing-

    Boo. I'm jealous.

    Consider me virtually there!

We just did an out and back, no shuttle. Too complicated for me to figure out shuttle logistics.

Well I'm coming over Fri night after work but looking at the forecast, I'm still on the fence on whether I want to load up the kayak. One forecast said wind gusts to 45mph Fri-Sat! Yikes. I'll have to decide soon I guess.

Plan B for Saturday is to go wander up/down Wildlife drive with binoculars and camera. Oh. and shopping

I won't be there this weekend, but I am planning to do a PPTC ride up around Thurmont/Gettysburg and I hate hate hate riding in wind so I've been watching the forecast pretty closely. The only consistent things I'm seeing are (1) they expect sunshine and (2) the other details keep changing.

I think the worst wind gusts will be tomorrow and Saturday will be windy but less bad. Most recent Capital Weather Gang forecast says 10-20 mph gusts on Saturday.

And it's always good to bring hope!!

I'll be thinking of you while I'm slogging my way through my 5K in Baltimore. hon.

The winds are looking a bit vicious:

I'll paddle on Saturday irregardless - but you guys in rec boats may not have a good time in that.
