Lookit, grasshopper....
when i was in high school one day i noticed that this older girl that i had a bit of a crush on did not shave her legs or pits or anything. and i thought to myself if a women can be so attractive so smart so great with hairy legs then why should i shave mine? or anything else for that matter. so i stopped. my husband has always said he doesn't understand why women shave he makes a big deal out of shaving his face though. i think he looks better with some facial hair but whatever makes him happy is fine with me.

No such luck. I need to shave before riding, as a comfort thing. The hair is thick enough that it works its way into the fabric and gets tugged. (Yes, it grows that quickly.) Nightly shaving for me, I'm afraid.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

I have real hairy legs, and I am dark-haired so the hair will show quite visibly. I get my legs waxed about every 5-6 weeks, so I don't have to shave them at all. I like to wear shorts and capris during the warm weather months when I am off the bike, and it is nice just being able to put on my clothing and not worry about my legs. It is also makes it easier to travel. I know some cyclists who got their hair removed permanently with the laser treatments.
I don't like being hairy... thankfully, my body hair is blonde. I generally shave every other day, sometimes every 2 days. I have a really good razor and it takes me about a minute or two. And I shave to the middle of my thigh (wear a lot of shorter skirts and capris).
However, in the past year, I have noticed hair growing in places it shouldn't be, like my face. Again, thankfully, I am blonde. I cut or tweeze the hairy lip every so often, but I have been thinking of getting that waxed, since it lasts a long time.

As far as leg hair and riding are involved, it's really only bad on the backs of my thighs, as it's harder (for me, at any rate) to do a good job shaving. It's really bad in winter and jeans.
I have dark hair, so it's visible. I can get away with skipping one day, but no more. Even in winter, I shave nightly, due to the problem with jeans.
At least I don't leave slime trails.
