Here is a photo of me doing what I do off the bike..most of the crew is here....one papillon off screen... my sheltie is now a Champion and they're all working on performance titles...so the sacrifice is never for naught....

yes, but mine is black. I want to move the black one to another bike and get a brown one for Miss Aurora who, I must admit, has also been a bit neglected of late. We're still in love, though!

I had just the same problem - I wanted & needed to spend more time with my dog. Sometimes I loaded my bike into the car & took my dog round the park using my bike. Problem was, it wasn't giving me much exercise as I could go so much faster/further than she could. So I have just bought a trailer for my dog. I figured I would ride to the park towing her - lock the trailer up & then cycle round the park w/ her. Then ride home. That way I would get some exercise & it would be cool to ride around London with Fettle in the trailer. So far we have only gone out once (& w/ the top closed). But as she & I get used to it I hope it will be pretty successful.

You can also get a roof rack for the trailer, so if I want to go cycle-camping I can take her. The wheels pop off the trailer to make a crate/tent - so it shouldn't be too hard . . . She also has a backpack so she can carry her own water when we are hiking. The person in the shop thought I had trained her to drink from a Camelbak lol - thought I might put a tube on the backpack & tell people that's what she drinks from when she is thirsty . . .

I was just looking at those little trailers....but I could only fit either the 2 papillons or one sheltie in..!!!!

Yesterday I rode 8 miles and that evening walked the dogs 1.5....so it can all be done in one day!!
