My back no longer hurting so I can now put my shoes on by myself and actually go for a bike ride

Congratulations to both of you! Clock - that is just great how that worked out, timing wise- you get cleared for an exercise bike and voila! One appears dirt cheap! Sweet!

Wow, yay to both of you!

Happiness is hearing that life is turning up for a couple of TE buds.

3 Days and 16 miles of backpacking. Breathtaking in more ways than one.

My morning hike with the pooches.

Waking up each morning to my SO.

    Snuggling with the cats.

Just hanging out enjoying the view from my deck.

Hearing about other people's good fortune and good luck.

...not necessarily in order of importance...

Being told I can drive again!

Being told I can take the brace off to shower!

Being told I can get in the pool (with brace on)!

Being told I can start taking the brace off for a couple hours a day starting in 2 weeks!

Being told I don't have to wait 6 months to try to run/bike/climb - just 2 more!

...so I can deal with the fact that I have to wait a whole year to snowboard again...

*dances around the room* (carefully with no bending or twisting or jarring of the back)

    That is great Jess!!!!

Happiness is being able to go outside pretty much when I want to... I work in a nursing home and unfortunately several of these folks do not get out much and if they do it is on a limited basis. I value my ability/freedom to enjoy the sun on my face and to feel the breeze.
