i waited about 5 years because i was afraid to spend the money and because i just didn't have the money. if i could have gotten it sooner i would have loved it and if you find a way to get one sooner i encourage you to do so! it is such a wonderful bike!

Took me a few rides too, to get used to my new Luna that fit me so well. Just because it was such a different balance than my bike that didn't fit as well.
    Love love love my Luna!

It is dangerous for me to go to Luna's site - then again I have no money right now after my LHT conversion so it can't really be considered a temptation... I would like an Orbit someday though

No more bikes though until I have at least a few thousand miles under my belt

Moonfroggy your bike is sweet, and the color extending to the rack is lovely--makes it look really custom.
I'm starting my 1st full season w/ my Luna Eclipse. i had no choice but to go custom (vertically challenged!--hey, my TT is 46.5 cm.!), but i wished i'd skipped the $$ carbon Trek that never ever fit me & which gave me misery over many parts of my anatomy, & ordered the Luna from the get go. This season I've already done a C & I'm doing 85 mi. Sat..& I love every minute. This bike 'disappears' under me. It's nimble, responsive, corners effortlessly (I can't believe how fast I take corners now, but I feel secure doing it), I can spend as much time in the drops as I want, i can do standing climbs if I want. At the end of the day there's no pain. anywhere. just a healthy fatigue. If you're, as a previous poster said, at either tail end of the bell curve for height, think about going custom. I hear fab things about Seven custom (& stock) bikes too...
Again, Moonfroggy, lovely bike, many happy rides on her...

Hi Moonfroggy, love your bike and the fact that it's a custom build. I wanted to ask what size the wheels were? I'm 4'11 and currently ride a Specialized Vita Elite but want a road bike later in the year. Due to my height and other measurements it's been suggested I get a bike with 650c wheels as that might well be a better 'fit' especially with the drops.

I can't afford custom build but it's on my wishlist for a few years' time.
Lots to learn, but I'll get there.
