When I first got my Luna back in 2005, it took me a few months to feel like it was okay for me to ride the bike...I just had this feeling that my Luna was too good for me, that I couldn't live up to it, that I wasn't a good enough rider (this from someone who has been riding seriously for 25 years and who is very comfortable on bikes).

But then I told myself to shut up and ride my bike. It's been great ever since and I have NO desire to get another road bike. I have gotten a Bike Friday since, but that's for travel.

Now a mountain bike or a 'cross bike...I might want to get one of those in the future, and they will be Lunas.

The pavement has to be dry, no rain/snow/etc on radar, for me to ride either my Eclipse or Orbit!

Tulip, you won't regret getting an Orbit when you're ready for another Luna.

I actually thought about having Margo build me an Una....but I live in Arlington "heights"----no shortage of hills (you can see Georgetown/DC from a vantage point a couple blocks from my house). However, making room for the Una would force me to find a new home for the beater bike!

If, I mean WHEN, I get an Orbit and/or a Loca, I will relish riding them in the mud! I want a Luna Una just because I love the name. But it would be good to have a single-speed, too, even though it's hilly here. The Una is so elegant and sleek.

So many Lunas...so little space in my house!

yeah i am already trying to figure out how long it will take me to save up for a loca and i really want an una but not sure i live in a very suitable place for one. and i have a tiny house as well trying to find places to keep all these bikes? at least bikes that fit me are also tiny bikes! one of the benefits of being tres petite!

i also want to get a bike friday at some point but that will be when my youngest child is not a toddler. i don't get to travel much with a toddler.

i am so glad i spent the money and got my luna it was so scary for me to spend that much money on myself but soooo worth it! and i am so glad i got the rack painted to match and that i talked to margo about making sure it could have fenders! i am planning to get some hammered metal fenders in the next few months. i will be riding my luna in all seasons! we get so much rain here if i only road when it is dry i would only ride in summer and not always then.
