I have tried this recovery beverage after getting overheated on a ride, and I do like a good ale. Sadly my stomach was not appreciative of this....and I haven't tried it since then. Chocolate milk, however, proved to be just the ticket

If I wait a couple of hours then the post-post recovery ale goes down very well
