Great picture! It is good that there was barrier between them though...
Too Cool. Just goes to show you that Bengals are not that far removed from the wild!
haha... I know. I swear the thought that was running through my cat's head was, "daddy???" The bobcat looks like it saw dinner though, or maybe it's thinking why is there another bobcat in that house???I love that I have wild animals like this right in my backyard. This is the 3rd time we've seen a bobcat in our neighborhood in the 5 years we've lived here, and every time I think it is so cool. We also have deer that we see regularly. Our animals are indoor only, and there's been e-mails sent out of the bobcat sightings to the whole community, so everyone else that let's their cats out unattended do so at their own risk. The only thing I didn't like about the article was that it said call animal control if you see bobcats. Why would I do that?! I'm the one living in what used to be their home, and this is why I live out in the woods so that I can have nature around me! I think they're beautiful! The bobcat didn't make any sounds either, but I'm curious to hear what a bobcat sounds like when it meows or hisses. I bet it's pretty cool!

The lighter colored one is a malamute. The darker one is a mix of some kind - either malamute or maybe even husky mixed with some collie? We aren't really sure. But since coming to live with us, her brother is teaching her how to be a malamute - to carry her tail arced high instead of down, to keep her posture tall and proud, and how to make those wolfy eyes turn all round and puppylike when she wants to manipulate the humans. I just adore them both.
