Welcome to the word of a true cyclists! I fell over the very first day I had my bike and still have the scars to prove it (that was august 2009.)

I am worried after reading your story because we are going to do some hill climbing on Sunday with the cycling club. I have a feeling that I am going to feel the same way and not be able to unclip from my pedals. I guess I shall see what happens on Sunday.

and sometimes you just go over for no apparent reason, can't remebmer what happened and end up in the ER and then losing riding time to cracked and broken ribs, concussions etc. Am I the only one who has all the local ER rooms on speed dial and know most of the local ambulance drivers by name?
