    Oh, I didn't make the connection that that is a NEW BOAT and it's YOURS! Very cool. Can you get it on top of your car/van by yourself? That's how I decided what to buy.

    And I had no idea Costco sold kayaks.

    It fits in her van. She has photographic evidence. Looks like she got it out herself.

    It has 2 compartments/bulkheads, so was great for the price.

    Some older guy bought a 17 foot kayak from R Sunday morning - and needed it to be put on top of his full size van. So we stuck it up there, I gave him one of those foam cradles for kayaks that I had spare - and we tied it off for him.

    But I have no idea how that man is going to get that kayak up and down off the roof of that van himself. R had spent several hours on the phone with the guy a couple times trying to talk him out of buying the kayak for various reasons (it really wasn't a kayak suited for what he wanted). But he would not be dissuaded. He was having that kayak.
