My bikes
I have a Specialized Dolce Sport, not sure of the year, think 2006, Trek 4500 mountain bike, not sure of the year, think 2006 and my new one a Look 566,2009. I have retired the Specialized even though I had planned on continuing to ride it. It just isn't comfortable anymore, but I am not ready to part with it. The Look fits so much better and I can tell the difference when I get on the Dolce.
Biking
I try to exercise 5-6 days a week and focus on time. When the roads weren't icy I was taking the bike out 5 days a week. Icy makes me nervous so I was stuck on the trainer for a while. Since I love being outside I was walking for some workouts. Now I am back at it and road 5 days this week. Not sure how many miles I am putting in. My bike doesn't have a sensor on the back wheel so trainer rides don't let me know mileage. Wish I invested in the better computer.
Goals
My goal is to ride 5 days a week and try to log in as many miles as I can. I would love to do a century, but I get fatigued and my lupus makes it hard to put in long workouts. Today I did 1:45 on the trainer and it felt good to push it. Also nervous about group riding. I ride solo.
I admire all of you ladies who get out there and do centuries and race.
