Well, technically cycling shorts are compression shorts, but I don't know how much support they really provide (they do smooth out my fat like spanx)
I know a company came out with running tights that claimed to improve performance because of the specialized muscle support--and I thought that was C@#$ for an amateur athlete.

I have several pair. They do, sort of. But it isn't anything like a bike shorts. it's more for their butts rubbing back and forth while they row - which I think is better for a bent rider, and it is very very thin. It is also not made out of the thick chamois, so shouldn't be a problem for yeast or anything.
