Can I join in? 158 right now, goal for end of April: 153.
Thanks for the welcome. I'm having a hard time getting my cycling in... I started last summer with my daughter's bike and I thought this is fun. Bought a bike on Craig's list that came with clipless shoes. I promptly had my first accident falling over and not getting unclipped. Sprained my forearm so had to take a few weeks off from cycling; by then winter had set in. Bought an indoor trainer, used it a few times; then I got rear ended. My jeep's in the shop getting repaired and I'm in a rental and I get rear ended again! This time I end up in the hospital with the fractured back. So I don't know when I'll be allowed to ride. I drive a rural delivery route for the post office. I have to sit around a lot while my back heals. I've enjoyed reading this site. Thanks everyone!

I would like to join you guys....Im a little nervous comitting to this. My weight seems to stay the same NO matter what I eat, how much I ride, blah blah...
I'm a little older 44 and have 3 kids...my bf% is around 20% which is good for my age but I really need to lose about 10 pounds. I have tried to lose these pounds for about 3 years...and only manage to go u and down 5 pounds. Some might think it is where I should be but who knows...lol....
155.4 today (goal is 155!). Happy to be steady since I feel kindof bloated!
165 this am
232 on the dot! Woo hoo! Eating a couple hundred calories every few hours seems to really work for me. I've also revamped my kitchen by getting rid of all the processed junk and eating mostly whole, natural foods. DH and I have also decided to go vegetarian a few days a week (good for us and good for the planet) with the hopes of eventually being full time vegetarians. This is a big step for DH who was raised on meat and potatoes!

Wow, Sammy, that's a big commitment.

Yep, and that's why we are doing it gradually. I've made 5 vegetarian dinners in the last 2 weeks and DH didn't even realize itWhen I mentioned it to him last night, his exact words were, "Wow! It's that easy? I noticed my pants were fitting a little looser." Men are so oblivious sometimes, LOL.

You too can help me fight cancer, and get a lovely cookbook for your very own! My team's cookbook is for sale Click here to order. Proceeds go to our team's fundraising for the Philly Livestrong Challenge!
First week of counting calories and purposely eating in a deficit and the scale goes up by a half a pound. Nice. Not.
Whatever - I'll keep keepin' on....

Just weighing in at 147

164.8 this morning. Small bump down.
It doesn't seem like a milestone, but it's the weight that the BMI calculator has as the highest weight in the healthy weight range for my height. So I am officially (though it seems silly and one pound is an arbitrary difference) in the healthy weight range and no longer "overweight." But I have a ways to go before I am in MY normal weight range.
