Tucker Cat is 15.5 pounds. It's really hard to weigh a cat on a postal scale.

Still up a pound from last week's indulgent weekend of music and food in Colorado..115.8. But back on track all week, so I'm hoping to see some results by next week.

Once again, I'm adding my thanks to Posse Gal for her efforts.

I am picturing this activity! I miss my cats (allergies prevent me having more felines around) but enjoy reading about them here

I used to weigh Bailey cat by getting on the scale myself, then picking him up and getting on. He loved to be held, but it's like he knew what I was holding him for and he too did not really want to know how badly he'd let himself go. He'd fight to get out of my arms. And, since it was my early morning weigh in for myself, there was usually a lot of skin there for him to scratch, if you know what I mean.

Oh I miss you crazy Bailey cat!

And you are very welcome everyone! Glad to be of some help in the battle!

    Starting weight of 168.5.

Goal: 155.5 (it's time to get serious about this!)

    Thanks, Possegal!

And I do the same thing to weigh our cat or our dogs. With the dogs, it's particularly difficult since they are both just about 70 lbs. You should have seen me trying to hold them still while we added them to the WII fit. It's like a strength workout and weigh-in in one!

    welcome back GLC!

good luck tuckercat! mine lost half her body weight in a short period of time, so i took her to the dr, she's a flaming diabetic, so now she gets shots twice a day and is back up to her old fat self. but there's dry food rustlers who come in her kitty door, we've caught two of them eating and then running out!

Do you have a regular electronic scale. I find my electronic scale does a good job, just have to get my cat to stand there a couple of seconds! Good luck to Tucker Cat. I should sign more than one of my cats up for this!

Alas, our people scale only does pounds, not halves or quarters. Since he's only got to lose 2.5 pounds, I figured it would take a while to show up on the people scale. It's just too coarse of a measurement for him. And I'm a bit obsessive so I want to see some results. Poor baby has been totally licking his bowl clean at night after we go to bed. I was hoping he would have already lost an ounce or two.

Plus , it's pretty funny to try to get all of this big boy onto that scale and have him stay still long enough to get some sort of accuracy.
