    I take it all back.

I used it a couple days ago and at the end I heard "This is Lance Armstrong. Congratulations for setting a personal best in the mile." I just found it kind of annoying. It may be inspirational for some but not for me. And the program should be set to keep him mute until you've used the program more than once.

I know. Lance and "mute" do not go in the same sentence.

    yep

He certainly said way too much at the TDU press conference the other day

Nice to know he will happily get involved in saying who he'd support in the upcoming South Australian election

I set it to have Joan Benoit Samuelson pat me on the back. Then I got a Garmin Forerunner that doesn't talk to me and is more accurate.

I can pick who cheers me on? Really? How? Joan would be a heck of a lot better.

I have a Forerunner also but who gives a **** about real accuracy on a treadmill? I just want music and the minimum amount of gadgets hung about my person. Otherwise, one of those gadgets will cause the termination of the treadmill.

Sorry, I spoke too soon. On my nano, the Nike plus has a settings option that lets you pick who talks. On the iPod touch it doesn't. Sorry to get your hopes up.

    +1 on LoseIt!

DH bought me an iPhone 3GS for my birthday in September and it was the first app I downloaded, and in off-an-on usage since September (I've been traveling a lot, eating in places where it's hard to say what's what in detailed calories/fat/sodium/carbs/proteins), I've still lost 13.2 pounds as of this morning.

DH and I are friends on this app, so we can track each other's progress -- that really keeps me honest, I have to say, as divingbiker suggested.
