Hunter Green Bike Friday Pocket Rocket in very good condition. Bike was built for someone 5'10" to 6' tall.
Was built with touring in mind and has nice components (spec sheet available upon request). Also has an internal Sachs Neos 3x7 hub. Here's a link discussing the benefits of a Sachs 3x7 hub: http://www.phred.org/~alex/bikes/3x7.html
Tires are in very good condition, 20 x 1 1/8, Primo Comet, Kevlar belted. Pedals are not included.
A single turn of the pedals on a Bike Friday will cover the same ground as that of a regular wheeled bike - the small wheel just turns a little more. The gears on a Bike Friday are configured to match the ratios of a regular bike.
Small wheels climb better due to a smaller diameter that needs to be rotated. Small wheels accelerate faster for the same reason.
Small wheels, having a lower surface area, have lower wind resistance in headwinds.
Originally sold for $2,180.00, asking $950.00.

If you have trouble selling it here, you might try the Bike Friday Yak group and/or Bikes @ Vienna in Vienna, VA.
Wish I was a few inches taller, and that the bike was red.![]()
Test ride! Test ride!
Heck - that might fit me.
Hmmmmm
I called Bike Friday to ask about shortening the reach if I decided to keep the bike (I've been wavering back and forth on selling or keeping the bike, as it's a real gem) and they suggested having an adjustable stem built to mirror the one on my New World Tourist. Cost for having this done is $135 plus $13 shipping. If there's anyone in my area (No. VA) who may be interested in a test ride, please let me know before I 'pull the trigger' on getting an adjustable stem made.
With the componentry I have on the bike, the rep said a brand new PR of this type would sell for $2,800.00.
I'm about your height and inseam, so if the reach is long on you it would also be too long for me. So, given that I've spent many thousand $ this week on my bathroom plumbing and repairs, I will abstain from thinking about buying a new bike.
