    Trisuits

    Hi ladies,
I'm brand new to this site.

I've completed two sprint tris and hope to do four this summer. Just bought my first tri suit. It doesn't feel as tight as I expected, but it feels fantastic. Should it be really really tight? Or should it just feel good?

When it's wet, will it be "looser"? I ask only because I did my first tri in a TYR bra and shorts. The bra was a Small (I'm usually a M) and it was great, even though it was a little tight.

Did the second in a danskin tri top and when I got out of the swim, I remember feeling a little more bouncy than I expected.

    Thanks in advance!

    Allison

It shouldn't be uncomfortably tight. Mine fits like a thinner swimsuit, basically. It's form-fitting but not cutting into my body anywhere. Hard to describe. It will have a little more give when wet, but not a whole lot if it's well-made. I had to wear a second sports bra under my danskin tri suit but not under my zoot one up to olympic distance. The danskin was comfy but not compressive enough.

    Welcome to the forum!

    Thanks Colby.

I think I probably tried on a different model, one with more compression. I liked that better. I'm going to exchange.

    Thanks again.

I am primarily an off road triathlete. I race mt bikes for team mtbnj.com and I do mostly Xterra off road triathlons.

I say mostly because I do throw in a road even now and then for training. The DQ series of sprint road tri's runs down this part of the state and they put on an excellent race.

What about you???? What races are you going to target?

I prefer the plain triscuits. Some of the flavored ones just taste like fake food powder.

I haven't had them in a long time either. Time for a TE Triscuit Party!

I've just started doing sprints. I'm doing Philly in June and Danskin at Sandy Hook in Sept. Might do a Long Branch in August and maybe one other.

I'm curious about off road tris. what's that about?

The bike and the run are off road, so you mt bike the bike portion and trail run the run portion. It is a completely different animal...it is fun in a painful, twisted sort of way.
