I know this may sound strange but...training is paying off (for both me dear n I)

I've noticed a change in my fitness...The horrible hill (Trekhawk-Welshpool road east..) doesn't seem as horrible anymore. Ok, i might be slow going up it but I no longer feel as if i'm about to pop...Same with a few off road sections..Could it be the core work i've been doing is also starting to pay off..hmmm

Now if i could go faster up the hills that would be great..
