hammertime - welcome to the run thread!When I was in my 20s, I used to get shin splints alot in aerobics class. It turned out that I was wearing my shoes too long. Once I started replacing my shoes more often (and wearing better shoes) my shin splints went away.
GLC - WOOHOO!! Fantastic! 6mph is a great pace too. You're making such great progress!
My run this morning was all of....10 minutes! Coach had me do an hour long bike trainer workout this morning, immediately followed by a quick 10 minute transition run.
Tomorrow's plan is a 4 hour bike ride immediately followed by a 5 mile run. *That's* gonna be fun, eh?
