) 10 mile TT with my triple crankset century-comfy non-aero Litespeed (means 31 secs faster than my PB)
I will not set a total mileage goal because, for me, it just takes the fun out of riding. It sets up a competition with others who may only be riding pavement when I also mtbike. I like watching the miles build, but you can't compare apples and oranges even when the total time is the same. Effort and mileage don't match up.
I really had fun this year with the total feet climbed, the Bay Area Trifecta and the TTs. I like these more immediate goals plus I get to meet the goals with my friends, on dirt or pavement. The Bay Area Trifecta may become an annual goal, especially since pizza seems to be at the end of the rides.![]()
