I need a good supportive sports bra for cycling that'll allow me to wear my HRM as well. Seems that when mtn biking i need a bit more support...

Only 7 more days working my current job. And with it holidy week and all --hopefully I'll be hardly working! Hardest part is cleaning out files and packing up to what I need/want to take to new job.

it's the little things in life - like hot running water

A while back the plumbers were at the house working on something, and I had them look at my drippy bathroom faucet. They tried to repair it, but due to the poor quality of the fixture (implied but not out-right stated), they said it couldn't be repaired, and I'd probably need to replace it.

Well the periodic drip got worse, and my water flow was reduced to about 1/4 flow. So today I took myself to a big box store, and bought a new fixture. A Delta. Then called the plumbers. Why yes, they could come out today. Mudbug Plumbing, got to love them. And they approved of the quality of my selection.

So this evening I'll be able to wash my face with nice warm water in the sink instead of leaning into the tub. Sigh.

Some people spend their OT pay on bikes or baubles, me, I call a plumber.

Boy do I have to watch my food intake after this past month...feeling the tightness of the waistband of my pants.

So how many of you out there are having a white x-mas???

We are definitely having a white Christmas.

We couldn't find anyone to take care of our dog for our annual trip back to see in the in-laws in Maine, so we found a dog-friendly hotel in Jasper instead. We're going to do the Maine trip in January instead.

Time to start some new traditions!

I'm with CC - Jasper is way cooler than Banff. I've spent many a weekend in Jasper snowboarding, skiing, biking... generally getting into trouble with my friends.

    Have fun.

    Happy Holidays Everyone.
