I'd rather have it simple and short. No one can write my streetname, it's way too complicated. So most of family and friends write w-street. (the streetname begins with a W) and we always get our mail.
Here we mostly use names of artists and historical figures (painters, writers, kings, queens, emperors,...) for new streets.

There's a street in Bella Vista (Ar) named Suits Us. It always tickles me when I see it, for some reason.
