Thank you so much, I feel 20 years younger as well. I may actually be healthier than I was nearly 20 years ago.Originally Posted by latelatebloomer

And... PLEASE get rid of that dress! Treat yourself with something that fits! When you lose weight... since you don't want to treat yourself with food... you treat yourself with NEW CLOTHES!
Now, get to shopping! Go find some skinny clothes!

Thanks again everyone, believe it or not that WAS my smile at that time in that first photo. I didn't tell my son that day (it was his wedding day) but I was not feeling well at all. I had already started haveing chest pains and was having trouble just walking etc. I ended up in the hospital later that week with a heart catheterization (negative thankfully) and then put on the cardiac and diabetic diet. I was miserable![]()

Def keep that dress and put it on once a year and know the power within you to make changes.
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
Wow! Mary your an inspiration to me, as I currently struggle with a weight problem, and need to lose about 90lbs.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
