Thank you to everyone for the support. Puffy, once she gets over the big move, will be a wonderful addition to her new Seattle home. Logistics in the planning for pickup

Happy holidays everyone!! Adopt or foster a pooch in need. There are so many now with the economy & foreclosure hell.

    Yippee!!!

I have a had a rescue (in my signature) and the love was so worth it! Tortilla cat came from a kill shelter and is a great pet. Thanks Spazz for taking your time to get Puffy a home.

Awwww, that's too bad because potential dogma & dogdad are really bummed

I hear that Puffy does not like rain? Any chance that she might have changed her mind about a few rain drops by stomping in the puddles with you in the rains we got today?

Or does she still prefer a drier climate?

It was the potential dog-ma that canceled the adoption - potential dog-pa not really "into" little dogs.

The rain thing was no longer an issue (as far as I know).

    Oh well.

If I weren't on the opposite side of the country I'd be very tempted.

    Good luck to Puffy.

She could go in carry-on luggage

    Or even under your hat.

Her housebreaking is going well - I crate her when I'm at office (in Quid's old crate, which for her is a huge condominium).

She is doing better on the leash - though she's so tiny its faster to carry her sometimes.

She has learned "sit" and am teaching her to play peek-a-boo, which she seems to get a kick out of. She's eager to please, and with a very gentle positive approach to training, could learn all sorts of fun "little dog" things.

She's so sweet. If I were in your area, I'd be tempted and I'm a "Big Dog" person. Usually I'm not smitten by smaller pooches, but you can see that this one has something special...... I think it's the eyes--what a love.

    2nd times the charm

Looks like Puffy gets a new mommy & daddy in the northwest after all - just a different mommy & daddy. And its a member of the TE family.

I'll let her (them) make the announcement

Question: how do you play peek a boo with a dog?

When she's on her back getting a belly tickle, she takes her paws up to her eyes (like when a cat washes its face), so i started saying "peek-a-boo" whenever she did it. then if i said it and she did it i tell her good dog! Now she's learning it as a "trick"... she's got it 3-4 out of 10 so far.

    Very trainable little pooch.
