When we travel to the USA and Canada it is nearly always with a suitcase full of TimTams for our friends over there! We are probably responsible for many TimTam addicts!
We usually take the "normal" ones but when our friends visited us here they were quite surprised by the different styles of biscuits (we don't call them cookies here) that we have in the supermarkets. Despite the fact that our climate is mighty unsuitable, TimTams are only one of many of these types of bikkies!
Quite a few years ago my DH was spending a fair bit of time on a car forum with lots of people from the USA who spent a fair bit of time arguing back and forth about how the USA had the best cars in the world and how you couldn't live without some sort of a Camaro (which was apparently proof) or a Corvette or .... (substitute big American muscle car of choice). Some bright spark from Australia piped up with "Well fellas, that's all well and good, but we have TimTams!"

Okay...DH and I finished the box (there are not too many in there) and the box I put in the freezer is calling out to me. I must be strong. I have to hold off until Thanksgiving.

I try to ignore the Tim Tams when I go shopping.
If I can get out of the shop without them I am safe. If they make it into the trolley and home I am doomed. Why is one never enough?
