I think we're supposed to get it tomorrow, although my sinuses say no. (Yup, they act like a barometer.... )

It was raining on my drive back from the airport in Oakland. My fenders went on today, so at least I'll still get a few outside miles every day. And Thom's mountain bike is in the trainer. It's nice riding the same size bike!

We got rain here in the Central Valley of CA today, but no riding for me, trainer or otherwise. I had to work on my paper for Philosophy. Bummer! At least I got a 50+ miler in yesterday - was a bee-utiful one. The leg warmers came off halfway through.

    It's Raining, It's pouring.....

North Bay Barometer says WET, with scattered moistness throughout the day. Did I say wet? We're expecting almost 3" today (yeah, I did a double take, too - isn't it a bit early for this?)

Sounds like there were some good rides going on! Yes, I also hauled out the fenders and other rain equipment over the weekend. Although I live very close to work, it is still daunting to face the cold and wet early in the am to commute.

It does seem like an early rainy season--I haven't even brought in the outside hammock yet.

Yes, Wabisabi, you live in the "rain forest" area of CA! We just get a meer 30 inches of rain a year while you up there must get about 75!!!!!

We'll get some of the Pineapple Express later today, tonight, and maybe a bit tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the fresh air after a first rain of the season- cleans out the dust and the smog (for at least a few days!)

Come on down for a weekend if you have time and we'll take you riding in the winter sun!

You know, I may just have to take you up on that! Happily, it is actually sunny, if a bit cool, today. If the academic senate gets their work done early (dream on), I might be able to bug out for a short ride.
