I don't know if it still does this, but the TE forum will not show my Picasa pictures if I insert them into my posts. It recognizes Flicker photos, though. It's a pain in the butt! Every time I want to include a photo on my TE posts, I have to post it on Flicker instead of my usual Picasa.

Picasa's annoying about this, but I've found 2 workarounds

You either need to be logged out of your picasaweb account - then while in your album and looking at your photo, you can right click the photo and hit copy image location... and then paste that into team estrogen.

I don't know why that doesn't work if you are logged in.

But if you are logged in and looking at your photo on the right hand side of the screen, there's something like "link to this photo" and then there's an "embed html"

if you copy the embed html code, there's a sequence in there that is what you actually want to post on picasa. Actually, I see a new option there, so everyone tell me if you can see the below image - i clicked on embed image and then told it size 400, and then clicked on the button that said image only, (no link) and then copied that text to get this:

I use both but prefer Photobucket.com for putting a lot of photos on.

Actually, I see a new option there, so everyone tell me if you can see the below image - i clicked on embed image and then told it size 400, and then clicked on the button that said image only, (no link) and then copied that text to get this:

I'm seeing the bike image, but i also see the text link above it in your post. Did you intend the text link or was it automatic?

I posted the text to show you what the text looked like that I was copying, and then I hit the img button above & posted that same text in.

So that option off to the right - link to the photo, and then copy what it says under embed after clicking image only is how to do it in picasa without logging out.

I didn't look at the page myself to see whether it posts, because oftentimes it just grabs the image from my internet cache and doesn't try to download it new.

I love Picassa because it's so easy to upload the photos you want, only share what you want, and edit and print them all in one program.

I like, but I'll agree that getting on forums that won't accept HTML can be a bit of challenge.
